All-In-One Curriculum

All-in-one curriculums are those that contain all 4 core academic subjects (English, math, history, & science) in 1 curriculum.  These are great for convenience.  The parents only need to learn how to use a single curriculum and the program covers everything needed for the grade level.  We've included a couple of curriculums here that only missing one subject, but we've highlighted any subjects that need to be added.

These curriculums are also often great at making connections between subjects as the kids are working through them.  In the U.S. we have tended to act as though subjects exist in isolation when really all academic subjects are much more interwoven.  All science, for example, contains elements of history, reading, writing, and math.  All-in-one curriculums are able to help kids find these connections in a natural way.

Unit Studies        Digital Downloads     Grades K-8

The Harbor and Sprout curriculum is a subscription based, unit-studies program that works similarly to the way Audible works. You receive a credit each month and can use that credit to access a download of the unit study of your choice.  Each unit study contains about 4 weeks worth of learning activities that center around one common theme.  The lesson plans are divided into 4 learning levels making this a great product for families with multiple kids and works well for a learning pod or co-op. Harbor and Sprout offers a variety of educational products that are worth exploring above and beyond their curriculum.  The digital nature of this curriculum makes the monthly cost reasonable and accessible to many.
