About the event
The Christmas Preview is a tradition in Downtown Chicobringing people together in the heart of the community to officially commence the holiday season. Downtown merchants extend a warm welcome, showcasing the best of hometown hospitality by unveiling their holiday offerings, displaying delightful decorations, and offering entertainment. The DCBA organizes festive elements such as strolling carolers and various on-street events.
This year, an exciting addition to the festivities is the opportunity to witness Santa getting a haircut at Liberty Barber (@libertybarbercompany) at 4:00 PM, just before he heads over to capture memorable photos with our beautiful families.
Here are the important details:
Street closures will be implemented on Main and Broadway between 2nd and 4th, 3rd between Salem and Wall, and 4th between Broadway and Main.
The streets will be closed at 2:30 PM and will reopen at 9:00 PM. It is essential to relocate all cars by 3:30 PM.
