About the event

Empty Bowls is the most popular and longest-running dinner fundraiser supporting the Torres Community Shelter. Attendees select a one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted bowl created by local public school students or shelter guests experiencing homelessness. With each bowl, guests enjoy a hearty meal of soup and bread, with coffee and dessert available for an additional donation. These delicious offerings are generously provided by local businesses.

The event also features a silent auction showcasing handcrafted wood bowls by the North Valley Wood Turners and an exciting raffle with fantastic prizes. There are 2 dinner times: 5 pm and 6:45 pm.

All proceeds directly support the Torres Shelter, which provides a safe and dignified place to stay for up to 192 people, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, along with comprehensive wraparound services to help individuals transition out of homelessness.
