Experience the Annual Salmon Tours on the Feather River
Participants are invited to join an unforgettable fall adventure on the stunning Feather River in Oroville. Each autumn, Chinook, or King, salmon make their remarkable journey from the Pacific Ocean up the Sacramento River and into the Feather River to spawn—and the Salmon Tours offer the rare opportunity to kayak right alongside them.
On the tour, participants will discover the fascinating lifecycle of salmon, learn about the Feather River's ecology, and experience Oroville from a completely new perspective. Whether seasoned paddlers or relatively new to kayaking, there's a place for everyone on the water. Youth ages 7-12 are welcome to participate in tandem kayaks with an accompanying adult.
What Participants Need to Know:
