Step into history at the Shasta Renaissance Faire, a vibrant, family-friendly event that brings the sights, sounds, and stories of the 16th century to life! Ideal for homeschooling families, the faire offers a hands-on learning experience where education meets adventure. Your children can interact with costumed performers, explore historical reenactments, and witness demonstrations of blacksmithing, sword fighting, and traditional crafts. With opportunities to explore medieval music, language, and culture, the faire offers rich connections to history, literature, and the arts.

Held in the beautiful Northern California outdoors, the Shasta Renaissance Faire also features kid-friendly shows, games, and educational activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity. It’s a perfect setting for immersive learning—encouraging critical thinking, storytelling, and historical empathy—all while having fun as a family. Many homeschooling groups attend together, making it a great place to connect with the broader homeschooling community.
