Summer Homeschool Hangouts are happening every Wednesday and Friday this summer from June 7-August 9th. Wednesdays at the movies and Fridays at Five-Mile.

About the event
From Friday, June 7th through Friday, August 9th, join local homeschoolers every Wednesday and Friday for Summer Homeschool Hangouts. For more information, email Chico Homeschoolers by clicking here. These informal, parent-led activities are designed for the whole family to enjoy together. Please note that children should remain with their families during the activities, as this is not a drop-off event.Â
WEDNESDAY MOVIE DAY: Wednesday Movie Days will be held at Cinemark's Summer Movie Clubhouse. Families gather at 9:15 am, and the show starts at 9:30 am. Tickets cost $2 per person. You can purchase tickets by clicking here. Â Tickets can also be purchased on the day of the event. Â
FRIDAY CREEK DAY: Friday Creek Days will be held at 5-Mile Recreation Center in Chico at 10:00 am. Families gather on the south side of the creek near the stairs. Families new to homeschooling can meet experienced homeschoolers at Creek Day. Experienced homeschoolers will enjoy connecting with each other while kids play."
